This is a George V era timpani drum banner. It measures 16” x 20”, excluding the three-inch loops. The background is red damask silk with a large embroidered Royal Arms of Great Britain with the King's crown at the top. There are two angels on either side above the crown. On either side of the Royal Arms are two "GR" cyphers with the King's crown over them. There is gold bullion fringe on three sides.
